Data Deletion Instructions

Overview

This page explains how to remove pointO’s access to your Facebook Page, Instagram account or Messenger, and how to have the data pointO received from them deleted. pointO is operated by Closetech AI Inc.

1. Disconnect in pointO

Sign in to your pointO dashboard, open Social Management, choose the Facebook Page or Instagram account and select Disconnect. pointO then immediately:

• stops receiving its messages, comments and reviews and unsubscribes it from Meta’s notifications;
• deletes the stored access tokens for it;
• deletes the messages, comments and reviews synced from it.

2. Remove pointO from Facebook or Instagram

To withdraw the permissions you granted pointO:

• Facebook: Settings & privacy > Settings > Business integrations, select pointO and choose Remove.
• Instagram: Settings > Website permissions > Apps and websites, select pointO and choose Remove.

Once removed, pointO can no longer access the account, even with a previously stored token.

3. Ask us to delete your data

To have all data pointO holds about you or your business deleted - including anything received from Facebook, Instagram or Messenger - email privacy@pointoai.com with the subject “Data deletion request” and the email address of your pointO account (or the name of the Facebook Page or Instagram account).

We confirm the request within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (such as payment and tax records), which we keep only as long as required.
