Cookie Policy

Effective date: May 10, 2026

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember information about your visit, such as whether you’re signed in, to make your next visit easier and the service more useful.

How pointO Uses Cookies

We keep cookie use to a minimum. pointO uses cookies for two purposes only: keeping you signed in to your account, and supporting secure payment processing during checkout. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising, and we do not currently use third-party analytics or tracking cookies (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) on pointO’s website or dashboard.

Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary - authentication

Our sign-in system (NextAuth) sets a session cookie once you log in, so you stay signed in as you move between pages. Without this cookie, you would need to sign in again on every page.

Strictly necessary - payments

Our payment processor, Stripe, sets its own cookies during checkout to help detect fraud and process your payment securely. These are set and controlled by Stripe under its own privacy and cookie practices, not by pointO directly.

Third-Party Cookies

Aside from Stripe’s payment-related cookies described above, we do not knowingly allow third parties to set cookies through pointO’s website or dashboard. If that changes - for example, if we add analytics in the future - we will update this policy first.

Managing Cookies

Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies through their settings. Because the cookies we use are strictly necessary for signing in and completing payment, blocking them will prevent those features from working correctly - you may be unable to stay signed in or complete checkout.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if the cookies we use change. We will post updates on this page and update the effective date above.
